Recipe: Apple Strudel With The Most Awesome Crust Ever

I watched Jamie Oliver doing his magic in the kitchen the other day. He had this awesome idea to boost up a  puff pastry from the supermarket. It's genius! I decided to try out the same with a simple apple strudel.

For the pastry:
All you need is a puff pastry from the supermarket and almonds. Follow the instructions on the photos:)

For the filling:
Mix 1 kg of chopped apples, a handful of dried raisins, 5 spoons of brown sugar, 60 g melted butter and cinnamon. Cover the pastry with the filling and roll it in a strudel.

Almost done:
Bake at 200 C for 35 minutes.

The finish:
Pour the strudel with what in my country is called an "agda": add 5 spoons of brown sugar, 60 g butter and a pinch of cinnamon in just a little bit of water and let it boil. That's it.

You can use the puff pastry-idea in so many different ways. What do you think? :)

Have a wonderful day:)

Love,
Emina
